v1.0 – 20261012 Complete Setup Change
With the speed of development on the LAMP stack to run on any typical shared hosting environment was getting to slow. So this now moved to an agentic type of implementation. After brainstorming ideas with other AI tools, this ended up using, Node.js and PostgreSQL. Everything from SEOHero.tools was not portable into SignalVero, but all ideas will still be recreated on the new platform. But the intial module for SignalVero will be a content calendar planner + content ideation + content writing tool. Initial business research tool, article topic generator, was created. Include article rationale, and ability to download as PDF or Word. Security scans and QA performed. Password recovery added.
v0.2.2 – 20250217 Parsing Schema Markup Templates
Schema markup templates can be saved, edited, and deleted. The sharing and populating is still in progress. For the populating of schema markup, all variables are parsed out and presented in a form already, which is just the initial part of populating the schema markup. Only valid, well-formed JSON is processed. JSON errors will not display any variables. Thus the saving will be redone where valid JSON code is checked, and also passing the schema validator.
v0.2.1 – 20250209 Edit Project Bugs
Fixing bug as they were discovered along the way while working on the schema markup populator. Bug mainly with project editing where the proper project is not displayed. Added some precautionary steps also in using absolute server paths for server files included. And sanitized code on using require, include, require_once, and include_once.

Just started on this because it is one that is needed more by some work colleagues I intend to help. It is composed on multiple parts. And so far I’m just at the schema template submission form.

Ability to add/edit/delete projects. This is where the data you upload, generate and download will be associated with designated projects you create to keep them organized.

The weekend has started, it’s a Friday night and I setup Google Analytics already. Complete with a variety of key events (aka conversions in GA-speak), content groups, auto-staging GA account switch when testing. This was not my priority because like, who cares? This site is barely built and blocked i robots.txt. But when I look at the database directly in MySQL, wow, spammers are getting in already. And they look just like automated scripts. If search engines, backlink tools, and LLMs have their own crawlers, I think the spamming world also runs their own crawlers and will crawl anything. Regardless of robots.txt. As long as your domain is mentioned somewhere, it will get crawled by spamming engines that will fill up any form. So that made me curious to start tracking traffic and user demographics already.

I didn’t make one because I wanted it to look nice right away. I just wanted to track spammers trying stuff, and the default apache 404 has none of my tracking so I needed to make a page.

Just a way to add/edit/delete new tools created as separate modules in the system. I had to make a bunch of empty tools to test it. I feel ready to build the first tool but just before doing that, let’s setup add/edit/delete of projects first. Since every user will need the data they run saved somewhere and separated from other projects. And different users only need to see their projects.

Added a new user type. For users with expired tokens that are x days old, suspended accounts attempting some malicious stuff, spammers, and when this starts to become a paid tool, well the none payers end up here too.

Login and logout functions are now working. The database is ready to handle different user-levels but will add more details to the user levels since I will also add inactive or suspended users. And since each user will have an ala cart style of tools to access, I need a relational table that shows which tools they get.

Completed the whole forgot and reset password functionality. But the authentication script is still not in place. So basically, anyone can open and visit any page whether you are logged in or not.
v0.1.1 – 20250201 Login Functionality
This is not using any base CMS, and this is making everything from sractch in terms of functionality. But the UI is not from scratch, so the look and feel is based of AdminLTE which also uses the Bootstrap framework. Many other tools may have a similar look and feel, especially that I am using the default colors. I now have the login and registration down. But still needs to add the authentication functions for all pages, involve user roles, add the forgot password process. For some people, they might already have functions, libraries, built out for these, that I am not aware of, and I still need to learn. Maybe those using frontend frameworks like ReactJS or Angular JS have premade libraries for this too. I do not even know JQuery well enough to use any of the JS functions well. But those do not necessarily help improve my tools, but mainly improve the user experience I guess, the interaction but I can work on those and improve on them later. Now I just want to get the basics done and start with making my own SEO tools and that is my focus.
v0.1.0 – 20250122 Learning AdminLTE Basics
Learning the basics of AdminLTE, open source UI template. Simple to use. Has pre-made templates for a variety of UI components. I am building in PHP, but if ever Python is needed in the future, I will integrate Python in here and will run in the background. I am sticking with simple PHP, Python, and MySQL and less of AWS or Google Cloud in the meantime to keep cost down and can run in shared hosting environments.
